5 ReasonsWhy North West Is One OF The Luckiest Baby In The World

As you know, baby Nori a.k.a. North West, recently celebrated her first birthday (apparently Blue Ivy was bounced at the door). So we've decided that this momentous occasion is a good time for us to reflect on the undeniable fact that the heir to the Kardashian-West dynasty already has a better life than all of us. No shade y'all. But seriously.

We even drew up this handy 5-point list for those of you who remain in denial, we titled it "North West: Living Good Since Forever". Here are some of the highlights:

Reason #1

Let's just get this totes obvious reason outta the way. SHE'S RICH! Baby Nori already has more zeroes in her trust fund than most of us can bear to count. While you get sour when your friend finishes the juice at your house, Nori just hosted her first birthday party titled "Kidchella". Word on the street is that guests got custom Yeezus tees. Not that she'll remember anything anyway.

Reason #2

While most Igers dream of being "discovered", the lovechild of Kimye has already featured in Vogue, people! Imagine the quality of #tbt photos she's gonna be able to use someday!

Reason #3

While most kids grow up thinking that their dad's friends are slightly creepy, baby Nori can rest safe in the knowledge that her daddy is besties with Jay Z! Unfortunately, Kim's friends are wack-as-f*ck, but you can't win 'em all kid. Keep your chin up though; Pappa Yeezy is also homies with Jared Leto, Lupe Fiasco and Givenchy designer, Riccardo Tisci.

Reason #4

Despite some concerns that the Godzilla-like egos of Kanye and Kim could never create a normal, healthy child, the babe who shares her name with the most boring province in SA, is pretty gosh darn cute. Also, have you seen the diamond earrings that Momma Kim just got her? One word: AMAZING! Rumours have been surfacing that Blue Ivy could be heard howling at images of the bedazzled Nori. Jealous down yo!

Reason #5

Forget the haters. Having Kimmy K as your moms has some serious perks. I mean, the woman practically manifested a million dollar career outta nothing more than a dodgy sex-tape, a banging booty and the good ol' fashioned desire to succeed. Basically, Kim can do anything! The Persian Princess was once just a lowly assistant to Paris Hilton, now she's the mogul of everything "K" related. Basically, Nori has all she needs to dominate in the year 2031.

So there you have it folks, but don't feel too down and out though, if anything, Nori West is proof that dreams do come true! But let's face it, she's already won at this whole life game, we can only hope to aspire to her levels of success.

Isn't she lucky, her smile is charming, lol

Don Jazzy Lamented: My Greatest Regret Is That Am Not Lagbaja

He went on to say that there are a lot of things he craves to do as a normal human and feels right to do, which to him is human rights, and doesn’t see any reason to reduce basically his own rights as a human, just as lots of people have that freedom to go on social media and say whatever they feel like they want to say, but the reverse is the case for him, without him been attacked.

For the celebrity model, gifted singer and Mavin records CEO and Chief, the best idea ever is the ‘lagbaja’ (face-masked). As when he (lagbaja) is wearing his mask, he is lagbaja, and when he is not wearing it, the public eye doesn’t know who he is. Don Jazzy bwent on to laud the Nigerian afro beat

Popular Nigerian finest and highly sought after Number one music producer in Nigeria, Michael Collins Ajaere, Popular known as ‘Don Jazzy’, has shared his pains of being a celebrity.

For the 32 years old Abia State-born music guru, having a successful career wants people to know his work and love his work.
But according to him, he claims he doesn’t like the fact that he can’t step out and be himself, citing instances like wearing his ‘own’ pyjamas on him and not getting people complaining about it.

Don Jazzy claims he maintains a dual and split personality due to his career, which is Michael Collins for when he isn’t seen around or spotted with a walking stick and Don Jazzy when he is with the stick.

The Nigerian superstar wished he came up with that concept first, as he can’t step outside and do whatever he pleases.

Man Stab Himself To Death Just Because Fiancee Dumped Him

Oluwatosin Otaiku

Tragedy struck at the Onikolobo area of Abeokuta, Ogun State on Saturday when a 33-year-old man, Oluwatosin Otaiku, stabbed himself to death after his fiancee, Olaogun Oluwatoyin, discontinued the relationship.
After the girlfriend made a U-turn, the deceased was said to have become worried, and this made neighbours, who were aware of the development, to intervene. Efforts were made to reconcile them.

On one of such occasions, an eyewitness said the duo was invited to discuss in privacy inside a shop at Safari junction in Onikolobo.

Otaiku was said to have hid a knife in his pocket, prepared to end it all if there was no truce.

It was further gathered that Olaogun stood her ground and maintained that she could not continue with the relationship.

On hearing this unfavourable verdict, the deceased reportedly brought out the knife from his pocket which made Olaogun to run out of the shop, thinking she was the target.

Olaogun was said to have immediately alerted neighbours who rushed into the shop and met the deceased stabbing himself.

He was said to have been rushed to the Mercy Hospital in the Panseke area of Abeokuta.

From there, he was referred to the Federal Medical Centre, Idi-Aba, also in Abeokuta, but he died on the way to the hospital.

The case was said to have been reported at the Adigbe Police Division and policemen were sent to the scene for investigation.

While they took the remains of Otaiku to the Ijaye General Hospital mortuary, three other people were whisked away in a Hilux Van marked, NPF 7092 C.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, a Deputy Superintendent of Police, confirmed the incident, adding that the police were still holding on to Otaiku’s remains until a postmortem examination would be carried out.

Adejobi explained that the command was still examining the statements by the suspects and eyewitnesses.

He said, “The lady is still with us, she is still our suspect for now until we carry out a proper investigation on the corpse.

“We need some time to study the statements, but the expert’s opinion is to carry out a postmortem on the body which we are going to do. I can assure you that the command will do the needful in order to get to the root of the incident.”

Carpenter's Son Edun Olabanji Emerges As The Winner Of The Lagos One Day Governor

In line with its tradition of promoting academic excellence among its youths, Lagos State Government yesterday hosted its 14th One Day Governor, Master Olabanji Edun who chaired a session of the State Executive Council meeting at the Lagos House, Ikeja.
The Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), who yielded his seat for him to encourage the 15-year-old lad who came tops at this year’s edition of the Spelling Bee Competition urged the lucky “Governor” and his team to continue to be good ambassadors of the Competition and the public education system.
The 15-year-old One Day Governor of the State, an SS2 student of Army Children’s Senior Secondary School, Military Cantonment, Maryland, came with his Deputy, Miss Azeez Opeyemi Blessing and other members of his cabinet comprising his Chief of Staff, Speaker of the State House of Assembly, his Commissioners and Special Advisers.
Welcoming the One Day Governor to the Executive Council chambers, Governor Fashola expressed joy that in spite of the challenges facing the public schools in terms of population, competition and space, they have been able to produce brilliant students who are continually doing the State proud.
Explaining the peculiar challenges of the public education system in a mega city of over 21 million people further, the Governor said they lie in the fact that out of the 14,000 schools within the territory of Lagos only about 2,000 belong to the Government and only in these schools are free education run, free textbooks given to school children along with other incentives adding that as a result, there is pressure on registration as many parents and guardians want their children to benefit from those polices.
According to him, “Only in those 2,000 schools is Education free, only in those schools are textbooks given free to pupils and students; where children participate in different Clubs like Power Kids Club, Climate Change Club, Young Farmers Club, Energy Club and even Be Road Friendly Club and all these happen at no cost to the children”.
“It must be explained, therefore, that those schools will be in high demand; it must explain the very full classrooms; so when the population of these schools are being compared with 20 children per classroom in private schools we are certainly not comparing apples with apples”, the Governor said.
Governor Fashola declared, “But in spite of these challenges, these children continue to do us proud, to do their teachers proud, to do their parents proud and to do us who manage the system proud that at least the efforts we make are yielding results”.
Noting that the story of the success of the children from the State’s Public Education System inspires his administration “to stay focused on the course that it is pursuing, the Governor added, “It is a course of success; it will mature in the fullness of time” listing some of the lessons of the process to include the fact that “diversity is on display”.
“This process is ethnic blind, it is culture blind and it is religion blind. This process is about developing children, about today and about tomorrow and it is also gender blind. It is simply merit-driven, the best amongst the very good”, he said.
According to the Governor, it is also important to note that the children that feature in the process are children of the ordinary working class.
“The champion and leader of this children today is from very humble parents; his father is a wood worker whom you will call carpenter while his mother drives a truck at LAWMA that moves our refuse about. But in spite of that clearly they have not abdicated their parenting responsibilities”.
Responsible parenting, Fashola said, accounts for why the child is not on the street while the other part is that “the State Government runs a policy of free education that allows everybody to get a shot so that no child will be left behind”.
While congratulating the One day Governor and his cabinet, and their teachers, he expressed the hope that the experience they garnered while touring the government and private sector facilities and agencies would deepen their education. He added that some of the students who have passed through that process have benefited from government excursions to other countries such as visit to Brazil to watch the World Cup to broaden their horizon and enable them have a well rounded education.
The Governor promised to meet some of the requests made by the One Day Governor on behalf of his school, including a bus which he undertook to fulfill, a school hall for which he mandated the Commissioner for Education to look into and checking the erosion in the school premised which he also mandated the Commissioner for the Environment to look into.
He declared, “If the winners of our competition are concerned about their schools, we must pay more attention to those schools which are the champions so that they can produce more champions and in that way, perhaps, they will inspire other schools to also compete. May be by the time we pay special attention to your schools you are making other schools to reach the championship of the Spelling Bee Competition”.
Congratulating the winners of the Competition so far, Governor Fashola promised that the State Government would continue to devote a lot of attention to all of those who have passed through the process adding, “We will continue to put our eyes on you and your development”.
Earlier, in his remarks, the One Day Governor praised Governor Fashola and his team for taking Education to a very lofty height and unprecedented level in the State adding that the Spelling Bee Competition introduced by Senator Oluremi Tinubu in 2001 has remained a rallying point for students of public schools to aspire to greater heights.
Also present at the occasion were members of the State Executive Council, including the Deputy Governor, Hon. (Mrs.) Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Chief of Staff, Mr. Lanre Babalola, Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr. Lateef Ibirogba and his Budget and Economic Planning counterpart, Mr. Ben Akabueze among others while the One Day Governor came with members of his Cabinet and his parents.
